His entire everything is so. Freaking. Awesome. I love what he's got to say bout adapting the costume of the oppressors. So, yeah, I'm thinking he'd be good for the carnival, which I am so pleased you are enjoying. :)
Seriously. I love textheads. When they get to talking about textile and clothing they love, their passions, their love is so contagious. Frisson-y. :D At least to me.
Both! One or the other. He seems erudite and informed. I bet if he were inclined he could come up with at least three other things on his own. But, that particular entry could work for the 11th Carnival (http://abydosangel.livejournal.com/428124.html).
oh! that's anachronaut. he's his own designer. you can find more of him in his introductory post: http://community.livejournal.com/steamfashion/374499.html.
i love his work, yes. just as important, i love the philosophy behind it. it doesn't seem like many designers are as into using themselves as a canvas--or get such gorgeous results when they do. =)
Yeah, it's clear from his post that he's really thoughtful about the historical construction of the ideas as well as the structure of the clothes. I was admiring his reference to Conrad's The Secret Agent -- that's very apt. Sexy intellectual underpinnings! *g*
Oh lordy, yes -- I take it you were right there along with me sighing over that under-construction pic of the jacket with all the padstitching showing and the unfinished lapels? (Not to mention the pretty hair?)

No info on who the model is, though.
Now I'm just going to sit back and gaze at the steampunk pretty. Wow.
