Oh, WOW. Christmas came really, really early this year, thank you! *wide-eyed*
Seriously, that man's bone structure is just inhumanly gorgeous. And that smile, and those soulful eyes, and that lovely balanced musculature...can't stop staring.
Oh, heavens, yes...such a beautiful, rich brown...
I need to work up a post for the other place about some weirdass SF cover whitewashing of this series I've recently fallen in love with, where the half-alien protagonist is in almost every piece of book art shown very very pale, even though the text repeated points out that he's brown. Except for one early-80s cover, the closest the various editions over twenty-plus years get is...white boy with a slight tan. This beautiful man? Now that's exactly the sort of complexion the Cat in *my* head has, no matter what those artists and cover designers have all been smoking...
He is very lovely. He has this habit of leaning/relaxing away and looking at the view from an angle, or from the corner of his eyes. He's also often very wistful.
The third one down is particularly beautiful with the shadows, creating two faces, and the stripes and hatching on his back, which is somewhat disturbing. The composition and negative shapes and shadows... yum.

I'm in awe of his color and his complexion, too.
