Hey, got a question for you. Has it ever been determined conclusively whether Vulcans can get drunk? And I don't mean 'The Naked Time' infection, because that was a slightly different mechanism, I think.

If anything can get Vulcans drunk, maybe it's Romulan ale?

Ah yes, the famous Romulan ale!

I think I can write around it for now, but it's an interesting question for me because I can't figure out whether they a) don't get drunk, b) get drunk but it takes a lot to break their tolerance, or c) get drunk but have so much self-control that they don't show it.

Well, I don't know, but I watched all of TOS and TNG and DS9 (but none of the other ones) and read almost all the novels.... So it is at least a reasonable inference from a lot of osmosis!

I remember Duane talking about Romulan ale as just ale, so I figure that Vulcans can get drunk on anything with alcohol if they try. :)

Heh ... Voyager and Enterprise don't really feature for me canonwise (not impressed by those two series), so I think your background is more than adequate for my purposes!
