The way he holds himself is very... I'm not sure how to say it. I want to say delicate, but I doubt he'd appreciate it. Dainty?
It's very formal, very subtle, and very non-aggressive. His body language is delicious in it's quietness. It would be very moving to draw and photograph (but moreso draw because for me, I have a very strong connection when I draw someone) him because he is so contained and subtle. If that makes any sense.
He also reminds me of a description of Desire from the Sandman series. "I was half a day's travel from the village, and had seen nobody on my travels when I realized that there was a man coming towards me. Well, I thought it was a man, and then I wasn't so sure, for there was something dainty about his fingers, something cat-like in his walk. And when I came close I could see that his eyes, like a cat's, were golden."
He could be a very subtle, very reserved, version of Desire.
He looks like a fighter to me, though. :) Threatening if someone is bent on foolishness. I'd like to see him in motion, but the way he holds himself puts me in mind of physical self-mastery.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and the quote. :)
Precise, yes, I can see that. There is a fierceness in his face.
You're welcome. It's always a treat to have all these photos of these beautiful interesting people show up on my friends list. Too often the fashion shoots that get attention are filled with boring vapid models, photographed by boring vapid photographers.
