I've loved this photographer's work for a while. The subjects look so much like family.
And the source is from Beinecke, where I haven't visited since I graduated. It seems I should visit just to see that collection. I found most of this black and white photos in a library of congress archive. (http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/collections/vanvechten/vvoccindx.html)
