I like Mink's dark drinking chocolate; Vancouver's west end; seaside, florida; emeralds; tall, skinny, well-bred, well-educated, self-deprecating men that kiss like champions. I also like talking sci-fi, race, religion, making scrubs for exfoliating + moisturizing skin, good friends, good books, and good food.

You?

Oh, if you want to know some of the reasons I'm grateful to know you, please tell me so!

I like my own bread pudding, my own chocolate chip cookies and my own barbeque sauce over chicken burgers. I like men with a bit of an edge to them, men who know what to do with their hands work wise. I like books that keep me up at night, I like being in movie theaters with a good audience or being in a movie theater by myself.

I love watching movies by myself! It's something I never thought I'd like, but I love it.

Oh, I so enjoy that! I can rewind as often as I like! I can get up and dance when I feel like it, multi-task, and pause it for ever!

No dancing at the theater because I will tell you to sit down because I'm not being able to see the screen. But you are welcome to dance with me at the grocery store - while we're picking out ice cream after going to the club.

I love going to the movie theater by myself though, especially if the theater is near to empty.

But, please, don't let me stop you from dancing at the movies. HEE.

Okay, all your own things? Must be fantastic. Yum. Yum. Yum. And all of that? Should only be eaten from the hand of someone trusted. I'm guessing your bbq sauce is super special, hunh?

And yes, all of those things? I like them too. I don't know about the food stuff, but I probably would.

I like your icon, making mischief, lip gloss, laughing till it hurts, taking naps with all three of my dogs, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, dancing at the grocery store, trolli sour gummy worms, talking about jesus, the south, piercings and guys with lots of tattoos.

TY! I like yours 2. :)

You are a mischief maker. :) And speaking of lipglosses, have you tried Jane Iredale's yet? They are fantastic. And where in particular do you like to dance in the grocery store, and how come we never talk about Jesus?

Well, I'm still very new to your LJ, but this is the perfect 'procrastinate from thesis' and 'getting to know you' opportunity all in one.

I like Theakstons Old Peculier and Waggledance. I like really, really good chocolate, but will settle for Cadbury at a pinch. I love Glasgow for its friendliness, Malta for its beauty and home for almost everything. I read like some people drink water. I write like some people sail tall ships or run away to the circus. I like handsome, charming, well-proportioned men, but I love intelligent, compassionate, God-loving men. I like good food in good company and I enjoy it like a sacrament, with ecstacy and gratitude. And I like freedom - by which I mean the opportunity to do the ordinary and the extraordinary, as the Spirit moves me.

Ah. Darn. Back to typing out those tables for chapter ten.

Hey there, scholarly!

I will have to give Old Peculier and Waggledance a try. Mmmm, chocolate is indeed the food of the gods. Or at least, I figure it must be. I'm partial to Vosges (http://www.vosgeschocolate.com/) lately. I love 'God-loving' anything, and I like how you write.

Much.

*hugs*

I like: picking up my boy cat and carrying him around until he makes high-pitched protest noises; fresh baked macaroons (the Italian kind, not the N. American Fraser Bells); letting cold waves slip over my feet and then jumping up and down and yelling that the water is freezing; Turkish tour guides who know how to give a good lay; sinking under several layers of warm blankets when it's chilly in the morning; that first sip of the first cup of coffee; driving down to L.A. listening to a book on tape; donuts from 7-Eleven at 3AM; getting stoned, cranking up my iPod and walking all over town; 5 PM, Mondays through Fridays.

I like Ben & Jerry's Vanilla-Caramel-Fudge; music artist like M.I.A. that talk about the real; SFF with folks of color; Martha Jones; good friends who I can just relax with; dancing until I sweat; forming community; flirting with just eyes; it being Shark Week on the Discovery Channel; my city, my friends, my loves and my life.

I. Like. YOU. And Martha Jones. And forming community. Now, I must go find someone pretty and likely to flirt with using my eyes. :)

I lost the ability to flirt in the latter years of high school and am just recently trying to reacquire it. I've gotten many a drunken compliment on my eyes so I figure that's a good place to start. And thanks I like you too and your list was fantabulous which I forget to mention in my first comment.
