Frankly, I was extremely jealous of his scenes with Zoe Saldana, and I think it’s totally unfair that I never got to do that. I will never forgive the writers and the director, for having put me in this position, to have to be watching that, rather than participating.

Can't. Stop. Laughing.

God bless Leonard Nimoy for being a crotchety old man.

A man of great sense and discernment. I saw what he was like when he got to mindmeld with that alien, and the first thing he did was grab Uhura's hand and start quoting poetry 'She walks in beauty ...'. It was quite clear that Nimoy enjoyed doing that scene!

Good morning :)

I can't remember the name of that episode either, but I'm not going to be able to rest till I track it down.

Of course! And now that the company has just (literally just) kindly fixed my long-ailing broadband, I can actually go watch it without having it freeze up every ten frames!

Dang ... I fantasised the hand-grabbing just like Karl Urban dreamed up the ear-stroking! It was Miranda's hand he was holding!

Oh well, still a good scene.

You too are a Spock/Uhura shipper.

Your fault. All your fault.

In other, more sobering news, my fandoms collided in a nasty way today when I was reminded that Nimoy once sang a song about Bilbo Baggins.

Google/youtube it if you dare. I refuse to look at that again.
