I'd say Christina Cox :: points at icon ::, but I don't know where you'd put her. I can't find the interview I read once where she gave the laundry list of her actual background. It was interesting -- she was talking about how she doesn't often get called for period stuff because she doesn't slot easily into the expected ethnic categories, but is viewed with more flexibility in contemporary settings. Yet her characters are pretty much always of the "presumed white" variety. [ETA: Found it (http://www.tvguide.com/news/christina-cox-blood-35807.aspx) and, er, not as helpful as I thought I remembered. She could be doing anything from talking about herself to giving a wild example. So, um, never mind.]

I know Shakira annoys a lot of people, but I love her to bits.

And just to not totally ignore the guys... Cristian de la Fuente (they're making Raf a regular on In Plain Sight this season, yay!). And... um... er, I don't pay as close attention to guys. :-}

Oh! And I guess Devon Aoki is old news in the modeling world, because I never see her anywhere anymore, and it makes me sad.
